WORST BED AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

When first ordering the bed, we expected to select a date after checkout - this was not the case and I had to email you asking for a date - the first one you gave me was unacceptable and you then changed this at a further charge of £29 to us. The day before delivery was due we expected an SMS with a delivery slot, this never arrived and I once again had to contact you, rather than you showing any kind of level of customer service and contacting us - you then said that we should pay £39 for delivery on 19th (today). Your website and the product state Free Express Delivery. We expect you to refund all delivery costs immediately. On the day before delivery I received a phone call, not SMS as explained, telling me delivery would be between 10am-2pm so I organised to be home from work during this time. At 09:40 on the day of delivery I receive a call from the delivery driver saying he was 5 minutes away - I explained that I was on my way home and would be home before the 10am slot and he told me to 'hurry up' and asked to leave the bed outside. I said that the bed needed to be delivered as advertised not left outside my house. Delivery arrived around 09:50, and I was home. The delivery man carried the bed upstairs to the room, and bashed the walls as he went - no real care for my property whatsoever. The bed was left in it's packaging and not built. Despite the website advertising that the bed would be built and packaging removed. There is also now a dent in our bedroom floor around the size of two fists which was not present prior to delivery

Two beds and three hours of phone calls later

Their paypal account is furnitureitaliastore@***.com They have several shops on the internet: http://glassdiningtable.co.uk www.beds.co.uk Beware of ordering beds in here. They don't accept cancellations prior to delivery. This is illegal. Before ordering (if ever your are seduced by their prices) clean your cookies of yor browser. The "super Sale" ("only .. x hours left") will start the online counter yet again. It's just marketing. And then, just call their service on the phone. They're very polite. But try to get the after sales department by pressing button 2. You will be put on hold for 25 minutes. Nobody will ever know who you are, what your problem is. This company has no warehouse. Don't trust their delivery time frame. They say "neyt day" after ordering, it will 10 days. In reality, after 4 weeks, you will still have gotten nothing. And then, if you try to cancel .. they won't refund you.

Do not on any account buy from beds.co.uk - they are total shysters. I was after a new bed did a search and saw they were having a one day sale!! After looking at the chosen bed i thought £259 for a £500 odd pound bed a bargain. The bed ordered a 'Henry divan kingsize with orthopaedic mattress' looked good. After trying to contact the customer service numerous times about a change of phone number for delivery i finally got an email. (Warning bells had started!) A sunday delivery was given the afternoon before, pity i had just had three days off waiting and was back at work! So had to take a few hours in morning. The un marked van arrived thankfully early. The bed got dumped in hallway by a small asian guy. I saw immediately the headboard was not faux leather but some *** material, the mattress a durest had no mention of orthopaedic on it and the diven base was so light and the material see through! ! I wrote on the drivers chitty that mattress was wrong - he said it was orthopaedic! The website says returns cost £21 etc I have tried numerous times again to contact them - threatening with trading standards etc - no luck as of yet! So so not buy from "beds.co.uk"
